 Our ISP did this last fall. they sent everyone an e-mail
stating the reason they are doing it is because spammers take
advantage of security flaws in winXP and install
worms that actually have smtp functionality. they then use
your computer as a slave to e-mail spam from
your IP.

many tnx to the spammers and malware distributors for causing this headache.

also when running jnos, i see connect requets to me from about 20
different IP's on our subnet, trying to get into port 115. amazing.
thank god jnos immediately sends RST's.

P.S. Maiko, jnos2/aprs for DOS running 24/7.  Nice!
