Speaking of the advanced Pactor and Clover modes, awhile back someone raised
the question as to whether
the FCC allows proprietary digital operation on the USA ham bands.  I never
saw a response once way or
another.  Does anyone have clarification on this?

just a quick status report. JNOS 2.0c is in the works, and at this stage
I have jnos using the SCS PTC modem to do HF forwarding to both FBB and
AirMail systems. This is the real thing (ie, using forward.bbs), and it
seems to be working reasonably well. Jim (WU3V) and I have been doing
alot of testing over the last few weeks, and I'm quite happy with the
results so far. Server side is not working yet, just client side.

Not quite ready for release yet. It's sooo cool to watch a forward
session, the change over tones, the *christmas tree* lights on the
SCS PTC unit.

I need to get the forwarding completed for the Halcomm stuff, and
no, the KAM support is still not there. Sorry, but limited time is
the reason - it's on my list.
