Hi Glenn and others,

> I still run JNOS on DOS, also the hamgate I connect to is running on
DOS.
I'm running several systems with DR-DOS and JNOS.
- First of all my Radio system, pe1biv.ampr.org, a P166.
- My 'http-server' (it does much more), http.pe1biv.ampr.org with the
Internet back door on (www.)pe1biv.net, currently a P133.
- My former 'terminal', sys4.pe1biv.ampr.org. That one is currently more of
a backup system as we use our Windooze mailer to read and write all our
Packet Radio p-mail. A 486DX2-66.
- Even while using low speeds, we do send large attachments. For one to the
club. To prevent p-mail from being in a big queue with all 'attachments'
mail that would be OK to arrive in a few weeks, I run a separate
smtp-server, mail.pe1biv.ampr.org, also a P133.

I also run JNOS in a DOS-box on a Windooze 98SE system. JNOS has been set up
in that system using a separate ethernet card while Windooze has it's own
NIC.
A Windooze 2000 Pro system has one NIC on the Windooze netwerk and another
NIC in the Packet network (using ZoneAlarm as firewall). So, the browser in
the W2000 system can access the Packet Radio network using the radio system
as gateway.

> Eventually I'll move it over to a LINUX system.
The system running W2000 was initially build to be my new Linux workstation.
But as I did have some incompatibility problems installing the Corel Linux
distribution, I never finished setting this up. When I needed an extra
machine for a Windooze experiment, I just used this machine and it worked
perfect. So, in the end this machine was moved to Windooze use.
I collected all new hardware for a new Linux system over a year ago, but I
still have to assemble the system and then get myself fully emerged into
Linux.
When I have enough 'hands on' experience, I want to move most of the
(packet) machines to Linux; 'pe1biv', 'http.pe1biv', 'mail.pe1biv' and the
file- and printerserver in the Windooze network.
