          of maps from around the world showing APRS digipeater presence
          as monitored off the Internet.   I set UIview to not expire
          stations for over 20 hours. Then monitored the APRS-IS stream
          for over 12 hours, filtered for digipeater symbols only.  
          This understated the digi presence a bit, since a lot of home
          digis that do multiple duty as clients and/or  igates don't
          beacon the digi star symbol.   Still it gives a sense of where
          APRS activity is present.   <br>

            done in 2007.   </b>I ought to redo this experiment today,
          to see how digi presence has changed in 13 years.</b></font></p>
