PSAT2 is the latest US Naval Academy/ Bob Bruninga bird. It launched in the wee hours this morning aboard a falcon heavy. Satellites do not receive an AMSAT number like NO-84 until after successful deployment, so expect that sometime in the next week. Bob will eventually chime in on when the digi may open, you will know it when the telemetry switches from PSAT2-1 to PSAT2.

PSAT2's page is

http://aprs.org/psat2.html

I think maybe what you really are asking for is its keplerian elements. These will be a while coming as when satellites are launched in groups it takes time to sort out which radar blip is which satellite. Furthermore since the launch was delayed any pre-launch keps are invalid. NORAD often releases preliminaries the day after without identifying the actual payload, so stay tuned. I'll post TLE if I find it.

This is a low-inclination KSC launch, like some old shuttle mission with a maximum northward travel of about 28 degrees, so good for the people who are cheated by the ISS orbit, bad for people north or south.

Steve K4HG

> On Jun 25, 2019, at 6:54 AM, Max Harper via aprssig <aprssig@lists.tapr.org> wrote:
>
> I received a few telemetry packets from PSAT2 this morning.
>
>
> 2019-06-25 08:12:29.414 KG4PID-14 R PSAT2-1>APOFF,ARISS:T#070,652,094,932,929,435,01000000
> 2019-06-25 08:12:59.118 KG4PID-14 R PSAT2-1>APOFF,ARISS:>S#000052,0z801
> 2019-06-25 08:13:30.314 KG4PID-14 R PSAT2-1>APOFF,ARISS:T#071,652,053,935,932,435,01000000
> 2019-06-25 08:14:31.215 KG4PID-14 R PSAT2-1>APOFF,ARISS:T#072,651,087,937,935,435,01000000
> 2019-06-25 08:17:33.924 KG4PID-14 R PSAT2-1>APOFF,ARISS:T#075,647,091,941,939,435,01000000
> 2019-06-25 09:55:01.444 KG4PID-14 R PSAT2-1>APOFF,ARISS:T#171,662,090,953,951,435,01000000
> 2019-06-25 09:55:22.141 KG4PID-14 R PSAT2-1>APOFF,ARISS:>S#000116,0y801
> 2019-06-25 09:56:02.343 KG4PID-14 R PSAT2-1>APOFF,ARISS:T#172,663,056,954,952,435,01000000
> 2019-06-25 09:56:06.316 KG4PID-14 R PSAT2-1>APOFF,ARISS:>145.980MHz No Digi.
> 2019-06-25 09:57:03.246 KG4PID-14 R PSAT2-1>APOFF,ARISS:T#173,700,695,953,946,435,01000000
> 2019-06-25 09:59:05.047 KG4PID-14 R PSAT2-1>APOFF,ARISS:T#175,692,518,944,936,434,01000000
>
>
> I'm trying to figure out the designation for PSAT2.
