Greetings, all.

<div>With the high occurrences of hurricanes, typhoons, and
related storms this year, I've been monitoring for APRS position
and object reports using the /@ and \@ symbols codes worldwide,
and I've been getting some errors processing them.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Besides the APRS 1.0.1 spec's defined storm type codes of TS
(tropical storm), HC (hurricane), and TD (tropical depression),
I've seeing some other codes reported.</div>

</div>
<div>I assume TY is for "typhoon". I'm not sure what TC is
supposed to stand for. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Have these codes been added to a later version of the APRS
spec and I missed the announcement, or is someone sending
non-standard messages? </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Example seen from APRS-IS at 2017-Sep-12 04:00:37 UTC:</div>
