<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"></head><body>I see what you mean. In YAAC, I use Hessu's database and only use tocalls.txt for historical stuff that Hessu didn't include or new stuff he hasn't put in yet. So the old OH2MQK software has a more specific pattern than you do, so I'll identify a station as his unless it's not in his tighter range (APRX0? through APRX3?), then I'll identify as you unless it looks like APRSmax. I can't really drop the obsolete tocalls definitions because those obsolete stations (let's call them "vintage", that sounds nicer) will probably stay on the air another 20 years. <div><br></div><div>After all, we actually have an APRS station around my area where the licensee has been a SK for a year, but no one has turned the station off yet. :-) And it's not a vanity or club trustee station either.</div><div><br></div><div>Andrew, KA2DDO </div><div><br></div><div>P.S. Well, some APRS clients use the list at the link above to translate the TOCALL and thus identify what radio or software application a station is using. I think that's a nice feature, but in this case it sort of makes everyone using APRX look like they are operating a Rx-IGate.</font></pre><pre style="color:rgb(0,0,0);word-wrap:break-word;white-space:pre-wrap"><font face="tahoma, sans-serif">Thanks,
