      APRSISCE/32 also decodes everything according to the specs that
      were in place when it was authored.  Yes, there are different
      units in different places, but they are decoded appropriately
      assuming that the originators followed the spec as well.<br>

                          use MPH vs Knots is pretty clear, but

                          extension to mph since it's indistinguishable
                          from the Course and Speed extension. Where is
                          this extension even used? I'd vote for
                          deprecating it.</div>

                          indifference is high on this one.</div>
