It is not only the VFO ... and XTAL changes. The most difficult part is to retune all the front-end and output filter circuits in order to make these things work properly on 10m. In past I tried to convert a 23 channel am/ssb GE cb (from 70s) to 10m and even that i used the correct xtals... the sensitivity on 10m was really bad and the tx power was milliwatts and this was happening because the thing needed retuning and for me it was impossible because i didnt have the schematics. <br></span></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_5244" dir="ltr"><span id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_4930"><br></span></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_5223" dir="ltr"><span id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_4930">73</span></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_5245" dir="ltr"><br><span id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_4930"></span></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_5246" dir="ltr"><span id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_4930">sv8gxc</span></div><br> <div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_4934" style="font-family: HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"> <div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_4933" style="font-family: HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"> <div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_4932" dir="ltr"> <hr id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_4935" size="1"> <font id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423934990702_5281" face="Arial" size="2"> <b><span style="font-weight:bold;">Απο:</span></b> Robert Bruninga <bruninga@usna.edu><br> <b><span style="font-weight: bold;">Προς:</span></b> TAPR APRS Mailing List <aprssig@tapr.org> <br> <b><span style="font-weight: bold;">Στάλθηκε:</span></b> 7:22 μ.μ.
