If you would like to read an interesting article about hf mobile

Will be mobile a lot the next few weeks in several states operating
6 meters - 160 meters SSB and AM modes. Will make a lot of calls on
the hfpack and milpack frequencies. Also do a lot of AM qso's on 40
- 160 using traditional AM frequencies. While mobile will be at the
equipment, when stationary and at destinations, will be using
SkyCommand with my HT to operate the HF rig in the mobile. Mobile
antenna is a HiQ 5/160 screwdriver, and may run a dipole or long
ware at some qth locations.<br>
<br>
Will also feed Geiger counter data while mobile and at various
locations in TN. <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.radiationnetwork.com/">http://www.radiationnetwork.com/</a><br>

Of course APRS will be active while mobile :-]<br>
