What's with these mid-winter balloon launches? <br>

I always seem to discover these live-via-RF APRS balloons when I
am testing off-air RX with new software TNCs here in central
Michigan -- this is the third one I have discovered this way....<br>

UMICH-1, presumably launched from the University of Michigan in
Ann Arbor (about 35 miles west of Detroit, MI) is currently east
