Greetings, everybody.<br><br>The next beta build #8 of YAAC (Yet Another APRS Client) is now released. The details of the changes are on the download websites <a href="http://www.ka2ddo.org/ka2ddo/YAAC.html" target="_blank">http://www.ka2ddo.org/ka2ddo/YAAC.html</a> and <a href="http://sourceforge.net/projects/yetanotheraprsc" target="_blank">http://sourceforge.net/projects/yetanotheraprsc</a> but the major updates include:<br><br>1. support for overlaying raster map images on the screen (supporting Bob Bruninga's cave project).<br>2. support for non-AX.25-default values for the reserved bits in AX.25 frames (for Bob's new feature test project).<br>3. a means of plotting line-of-sight paths between two antennas on the map, assuming SRTM terrain data has been downloaded.<br><br>Enjoy, everybody.<br><br>Andrew Pavlin, KA2DDO<br>author of YAAC<br> </div></body>
