It did occur to me that the "m/500" filter needed a position from my station. I forced an xmit (before I sent my orignal email) and it seemed to make no difference. So, my original filter that worked for a long time is below:<br>
:filter r/42/-72/200 t/nm p/BUOY/QUAKE s//@ s//S s//: -s/w -p/METAR e/WE7U-WX<br>note 1: the ":" is part of the filter string (it seems that once upon a time I had to have a ":" on my filter string). <br>
note 2: when I send up this filter my status on the firenet status web page is "no filter set".<br><br>The actual packets I see from the xastir "view incoming data" log in this case is:<br> 2:NET-> # javAPRSSrvr 4.0.0<br>
