secret<g>. <br></div></blockquote><div><br></div><div>This is the second amateur balloon this year to exceed the capabilities of modern ballooning technology without even trying. It's all part of a government conspiracy, you see, that's why so much of the data is secret!</div>
<div><br></div><div>Seriously, though, the fact that this balloon survived the night without any ballasting is just as incredible as the recent multiple-day flight of a latex weather balloon. Neither of these things should be - nor have been - possible. The weather balloon behaved exactly like a polyester superpressure balloon (it didn't even leak any gas for days!) and this one is acting like one of Lally's RACOONs, but at far too low of an altitude.</div>
