    OK, sorry I was being pessimistic, I promise it won't happen again
    and keep my hopes up of it surviving untill sun up, maybe by then it
    will hit the jetstream it was suposed to hit today, someone told me
    it was to far south for the stream but was about right in hight.<br>

                     Almost certainly not a burst event or anything like

                    cooling of the gas.  It's still a long way down to
                    the tropopause from
                    there and it will likely slow down as it approaches.
                     If it does, indeed,
                    drop below the tropopause before the sun comes up,
                    then it will start to drop
                    like a rock (well, not quite, but a lot faster than
                    we're seeing now).<u></u><u></u></span></font></p>
