Keep an eye on that battery voltage.  Gain on the final amplifier drops off dramatically below 4.0 volts.  that corresponds<div>to</div><div><br></div><div>'V1A0'</div><div><br></div><div>and we're at 'V1B2' right now, so not much headroom.</div>

What's the radio range at 107k ft...?  My calculations show about 407 miles line-of-sight (over the horizon) to a 30' tower and 470 miles diffraction corrected radio range, it looks reasonable.<br>
