The 11th annual Great Plains Super Launch will be held in Colorado Springs CO from July 28-31 (Thu-Sun). Launch date will be Saturday the 30th with a weather backup date of Sunday the 31st. This year's host is Edge of Space Sciences (EOSS).
The mass launch generally has 10-15 near-simultaneous flights.

Exact schedule and presentation details are still being developed but it's expected that Friday will have the bulk of the presentations, with Thursday being a tour or gathering of interest to the participants. Saturday is the flight day with Sunday as a backup. Events are open to anyone interested. I don't believe an attendance fee has been set, but donations at the door on Friday to defray expenses are appreciated.

Most flights will have APRS beacons on one frequency or another (too many to have them all on 144.39).

73 de Mark N9XTN
www.nstar.org
