experience. of all the handhelds, the D7 has about the best longevity
(battery) of all my handhelds. My experience (just monitoring the frequency) is
in the RX mode... not transmitting my position (what do they call that

digi is running a high enough TXD. Those new 1450ma after market
batteries work great, I can operate the radio for a full day at work on APRS
without the battery dying. The 1050ma battery wasn't good
