balloon so it can be tracked ? Or a UAV, same reason. Or how about
puting a tracker on a runner or bicyclist in a race. Or How about a remote
tracker/telemetry system on a space station. Seems to me thats why APRS was
invented. We live in a time of innovation. Some just can't accept

link. A control link controls the transmitter not a person that controls
the transmitter. The digipeaters I help out with are all controlled by
the license holder going out to the site and unplugging the radio. They
don't have to call someone else to do it for them.</FONT></DIV><FONT

This raises a great discussion on putting trackers on
vehicles of non-licensed persons.
Is it legal to have a non- licensed person turn a TRANSMITTING
amateur radio on and off and can a cel phone call function as a control
link?
