filter setting at login time by adding "# filter yourfilter" to the
entry in aprserve.txt. This causes the filter to be sent with the login
to the server and allows you to have different filters for different
servers.

Well whatdya know! Some time ago, I had tried to place the filter
port string as an "argument " to the server listing in the
APRServe.txt file some months ago. I must have got the syntax wrong
since it never seemed to work. I then concluded it wouldn't work there.
