I used the <a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:service@kantronics.com">service@kantronics.com</a> address. I sent the email as soon as
read this thread, and received the reply today. When they asked how it
was being used, I gave both of our examples. Mine may be used outside,
but we don't have -25 F temps here. Although it did snow here on
Christmas and not north of here. <span class="moz-smiley-s8"><span>

chugging right along.
What address did you use for Kantronics? I used the one on there sight
and never received a reply.
Thanks for the help!

<pre wrap=""> I sent an email to Kantronics on the KPC 3+, and received the following
reply:
Nearly all of the components inside the KPC-3 Plus have temperature rating
of 0 to 70 degrees c (in non-condensing humidity up to 90 percent). So, the
high end of the operating range is less than that. It draws very low current
(15 to 25 ma, depending on number of leds lighted), and generates very
little internal heat. Is this for a commercial installation, or the typical
ham installation? Ken. Kantronics Technical Service

I've searched around to find the temperature operating limits for the
Kantronics KPC-3+ and the Vertex VX-150. I havn't been able to find much.
Has anyone else researched this? Thanks! -- Ryan Tourge - K2RRT email:
