[aprssig] Montana Field Day balloon event CCARC N7RB

On Field Day last Saturday the Capital City ARC Helena MT included a
balloon event launched from northwest Helena and concluded in a marshy
cattle pasture some 5 hours and 102 miles downrange near Jackson in
Montana's spectacular Big Hole Valley. Two similar AVRT AP5x APRS trackers
(N7RB-10 and 11) provided accurate tracking of the capsule payload on its
way to 115,315 feet before burst sw of Butte, Montana. Besides the
trackers, three GoPro cameras were imaging every 5 seconds. The thousands
of photos are still being reviewed. We also had a UHF simplex repeater that
relayed calls from around Montana and Idaho. Big shout out to SainSonic for
the great product. We used the stock 6" antenna and nothing more, with
offset position reports every 30 seconds. Recovery crew Bill K7MT, John
