I'm going to GUESS that this is a rant about Zoom (because my club too),
but as far as I can tell all the Zoom issues were either non-issues in
the first place, or have been VERY quickly fixed, or in most cases BOTH
(yes, they've been "fixing" stuff that didn't need to be fixed. I've
worked 25 years in IT Security, and I'd struggle to recommend anything
better (it's not like BBM Meetings is an option any more)

... but there's always https://meet.jit.si/ if you wanted something less
secure but more "open", free, no account required, you just make sure
everyone knows the meeting name will be "OurRadioClubThursdayMeeting" or
hand out the URL https://meet.jit.si/OurRadioClubThursdayMeeting

... but it's NOT HAM RADIO so some people will probably complain. Your
pre-covid "in person" meetings weren't over ham radio either, but that
doesn't stop them complaining   :-D

My club has experimented fairly successfully with an audio gateway that
will take our repeater output --(analog)--> PC which works quite nicely
with either of the above online systems. We've had less luck with PC
--(analog)--> Repeater (with pre-arranged PTT) because SOMEONE SOMEWHERE
in the club will have their 2m rig near enough to their PC that you'll
loop / feedback Zoom --> [...] --> Repeater --> SOMEONE --> Zoom, and
it's really hard explaining to 100% of members exactly what they can /
can't / must / must not have muted, or having one amazing Net Control
person attempt to simultaneously control ALL the mutes and PTT AND run
an actual net.

... so we usually gate the repeater into Zoom uni-directionally, and use
Zoom pretty much just for slides and waving at each other / "show of
hands" / etc, trying not to leave the "radio only, no internet" people
feel too left out, but also trying to include the "internet only, no
radio" people (EG unlicensed or not-yet-licensed club members)

Description and pretty diagram at http://kwarc.org/covid-nets.html

If you wanted to do it "100% ham", you'd probably need to look at
running your own jit.si server, unencrypted, over AREDN or one of the
other broadband hamnet GHz IP-based systems. And you're probably
excluding the non-hams / SWLs.   :-/

That might sound hard... but probably not as hard as expecting enough
members to be able to do FAST SSTV (remind me, what's the first S stand
for?   ;-)
