Are you aware of the yellow-highlighted ones in
http://wa8lmf.net/aprs/APRS_symbols.htm ? You're allowed to use (say)
the "Green dot", boat, van, or "Red triangle" symbols with a "Symbol
table" of "N" to put an "N" on them - can't be that, can it? Do you have
the actual decoded text of the packet?

Yeah, that is supposed to be DDHHMMz or HHMMSSh, the other one being
DDHHMM/ "local time"

Got to be careful about "Correcting" packets. It can completely ruin
APRS/APRS-IS's ability to de-duplicate, especially if multiple people
"correct" packets in inconsistent ways. Better to drop them on the floor.
