Generally, the APRS-IS network is supposed to carry traffic originated by
amateur radio operators, and data mirroring from other systems is not
supposed to happen. This is primarily to prevent non-amateur
transmissions from being accidentally retransmitted on amateur radio
frequencies, which would violate license terms in many countries. So the
general guideline is: Please do not do it.

For an event, you might want to export APRS data to another system to
merge it with data from commercial systems. Or you could possibly set up a
separate APRS network without connecting it to the greater APRS-IS.
