You seem to want to filter from an existing stream by using symbols

I would just migrate to a new stream 

Take the space traffic out of aprs is and stick it in a new stream

That way no filter needed you connect you know your going to get space packets

Just be aware thee are some dumb operators I have seen that don't see an issue with punching through filters

Try it
