I can help you with perl scripts to connect to APRS IS and send your position

 

I use safari web browser in iMac “http://aprs.fi”

 

Look down the side you will see “Google Earth KML”

 

Install Google Earth for iMac and then you can see stations in Google Earth

 

It should be a .pkg or a .dmg file for Mac

+ Install MacPorts 

 

https://www.macports.org/install.php

 

+ Install Xastir using macports 

 

sudo port install xastir

 

MacPorts will download all the dependencies
