I am in the process of developing APRS software for the Mac platform,
however it is not yet polished enough to release at the moment. I mention
this mainly to say don't give up hope; more options are in the works.

In the meantime, have you looked at "PocketPacket
<https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pocketpacket/id434074502?mt=12>" on the
Mac App Store? They have a Mac version in addition to their iOS app.

Also, while they do not work like native Mac applications, I've been able
to get Xastir <http://xastir.org/index.php/Main_Page>, YAAC
<http://www.ka2ddo.org/ka2ddo/YAAC.html>, and Direwolf
<https://github.com/wb2osz/direwolf> to compile and run on my Mac.
Depending on what you want to do and if any of those options are of
interest to you, let me know and I can help you get those running.
