But generally, it mens 2 hops, because the convention is that APRS is most
areas (not LA, etc) can support two hops.
That is either a WIDE2-2 for fixed stations or a WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1 for
mobiles. Both are two hops. Not the cleanest, but it’s the only thing that
allowed fill-in digis.
