[aprssig] Winlink 2000 and APRS question

Hi,
I have been a long time lurker of this list, but it is my first posting here, so sorry if I do a mistake.
It is my understanding that one should not run a Winlink 2000 node on the APRS frequency.  I am correct or did I missed something in the APRS specification suggesting running Winlink 2000 in the APRS frequency (144.390)?
