And that’s why we put a device there…  We have for the past 4 hamventions put different style devices in and recorded traffic to compare after the fact loading and just how well “x” did…   The “digi” is a direct only with a viscous delay so that it would only digi a station it heard direct only if it wasn’t already digied by an outside station…   

The -14 also logs all traffic to a log file no matter if it digied or made it to aprs-is..  As that’s one of it’s missions is to just see how well it RXed in the hostile environment of hamvention.  And from inside the arena itself.   Myself and Mr.Love manage a very large APRS network in michigan we put up temporary dig’s for events and experiment with different setups/devices…  Just look at our garages and the amount of APRS gear we have… Second thought don’t.. our wives might start to wonder…

I tried to open your events map but was getting a server not found… How are you getting your “RF” activity from around the arena.. where is your receiver located?  Or are you just filtering apris-is feed?
