I was not aware of the two separate ports, as I do not have a D72.
Of course you are right, attaching a (cheap Chinese) Bluetooth-serial
adapter to the 2.5mm port, plus a recent build of APRSdroid[1] (NOT the
version from Google Play) will do the job!
