Today is APRS day.  More mobiles on the road then the rest of the year.

If the wife allows it, play radio.  Use VOICE ALERT on the road, make
contact then switch to "52".  Or even better, switch to UHF and then you
can keep tracking each other too.

Also look for others with their FREQ in their beacons.  Give 'em a call.

If you do make contact anyother way, and they have no clue what Voice
Alert is, then educate them.
