So there are two separate projects with the same name that do pretty
much the same thing? The one I'm talking about is
http://www.baycom.org/~tom/ham/soundmodem/ which runs on Linux as well
as Windows and Solaris. I have used it for both 1200bps VHF and 300bps
HF packet. It works well with the Linux ax25 stack and software like
aprx or Xastir for APRS purposes.
It is also a purely soundcard-based software TNC.
