APRS talk, Western Maryland, Haggerstown Hamfest 5 May 10 AM.

Washington County Ag Expo Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike (Route 65), South of Hagerstown near Sharpsburg, MD

Other stuff:

1. It is a great place to meet friends and relax, we have cover areas
for group meetings.
 2. We have it on good authority that Saturday is going to be a good
weather day.
 3. Tailgating available under the Pavilions and open paved areas.
 4. Bring your QSL Cards Bill Dobson, N3WD, will check them for you.
 5. Johnny Johnston of Quarter Century Wireless Association will be
there to answer your questions.
 6. Bring your family and after the hamfest visit the Antietam Battle
field only 4 miles away.
 7. Your family can visit the Washington County Heritage Museum on the
same property while you hamfest
 8. Mr. APRS Bob Bruinga,WB4APR will be our main speaker on “APRS,
Solar and Electric Cars"
 9. Section Manager Jim Cross,W3IN will be there to discuss whats
happening at ARRL and more.
10. Food Concession stand will be serving early Breakfast and Lunch -
Good food at moderate prices.
11. After the Hamfest there or quality restaurants just minutes away.
12. Ham stuff and other things Auction entertainingly lead by Al
Brown,KZ3AB - JUST FUN TO WATCH
13. Upgrade your license with the ARRL VEC Team Amateur License Exams
With on site.
14. It's not that far from Washington and Baltimore - Six miles south
of Interstate 70 at Exit 29A.
15. Sellers' bring your ham stuff, we have buyers for you.

09:00 AM   ARRL Forum - Jim Cross,W3IN, MDC SM - What's happening at
ARRL and Beyond
10:00 AM   Presenter - Bob Bruinga,WB4APR Topic – “APRS, Solar and
Electric Cars"
10:30 AM   ARA Cake is served again this Year, we added a second cake
for those that missed it last year.
11:00 AM   Odds and Ends Auctions Lead by - Al Brown KZ3AB ASM - If you
have something to sell Al can do it.
12:30 PM   Grand Prize Drawing
01:00 PM   ARRL VEC Team Amateur License Exams With on site
registration starting at 12:00PM.
