[aprssig] APRS vs. SPOT

Not Amateur Radio, but a commercial product with $$$ to back it up 
instead of volunteers providing an ad-hoc infrastructure.  And it's also 
not hampered by backward compatibility issues with 7+ year old 
non-upgradable software running on at least 14% of the stations active 
worldwide (including statistics dilution by CWOP and Firenet stations) 
within the past two hours.

Not even worth comparing nor discussing on an APRS sig, IMHO.  But I'll 
keep my delete button warmed up just in case.
