Umm, different context of course, but I'd prefer not to be tarred by "... The only reason UIV is free is that it is a dead, unsupported, orphaned product. ..."

TicketsCAD is free, is actively supported, and 'does' APRS via APRS.fi.  ( www.ticketscad.org)
