Ian,

I am not sure what the regulations are in Canada, but obviously, they are using the area as a launching point.  I am sure they have the proper clearance, as these guys are seasoned veterans in the HAB world.

Looks like they got a late launch, but they are already at 12K feet and climbing, fast!  Ground speed has been a constant 50-55 MPH.  Moving fast!
