You dont do it directly, you just put your local object on local RF and it will get to APRS.FI. Every field day site whould have a local object on the air NOW so that others can look at their maps and see where all the sites are. Those that are mobile on the weeekend enjoy dropping by other people's field day sites, and there is nothing easier than seeing them on your mobile radio with range and distance and just driving to them!
