Just wanted to let everyone know that we've FINALLY got factory-made 
tracker cables available for the VX-7R and other Yaesu or Vertex 
Standard radios that take the weird threaded waterproof connector:

This was way more trouble than it ought to have been, but it's done, 
they're here, and they work.  This cable is compatible with the 
OpenTracker, OpenTracker+, Tracker2, and ought to work with the 
TinyTrak3/4 and any other tracker that uses the common DB9 pinout.
