[aprssig] 9600 APRS

My personal goal is to change my voice operations habits to UHF repeaters
(I'm tired of the same'o-same-o on the local 2m one anyway). Its amazing to
see the 2m APRS keep working even while I am talking, and not lose syllables
whenever my packet goes out. Bob, WB4APR

There would need to be radios for 1.2G for less than $500 for that to
happen. And then the most common 1.2 radio is the biggest D-STAR radio there
is.

I'd like to see a move to a band that isn't used for voice as much as 2
meters -- perhaps 1.2 would work -- and an increase in speed to 19.2 or
maybe even 56K.  Of course, my bones will probably be dust before that
happens!
