This is more misinformation. One never has to go through any "clumsy and distracting process of deleting"...
This again shows how many APRS operators do not know how to operate their APRS radio. There is no requirement to delete old messages at all. All one has to do is READ incoming messsages and this automatically marks the message as available for overwriting.
Those D7 and D700 radios that are sending REJects are because the operator is too lazy to press the MSG button ONCE.
Rememeber, all one has to do is read their messages once every now and then, and this clears their HAVE-NOT-BEEN-READ flag so that they can receive more.
