Since many new hams have never used an autopatch...

I have prepared some web pages for how to program your DTMF
callsign into
DTMF memory and then how to send it for APRStt when it becomes
available. If you have a radio other than these, then I would
welcome your step-by-step procedure.

http://aprs.org/aprstt/DTMF-AlincoDJG7.html
http://aprs.org/aprstt/DTMF-TH-D7.html

You can edit your own page easily.
Just go to the above page, click on your browser to VIEW SOURCE.
Then change the steps to match your radio.
Add your own by-line as the author

SAVE the file under a file name appropriate for your radio
Send it back to me and I will post it on the APRStt web page.

It may appear pointeless to put the DTMF callsign in your D7 as
shown above because the radio has APRS built-in and donesnt need
it, but it is still useful because you will use the DTMF to give
demo's of how easy APRStt is for anyone without an APRS radio.

Thanks
