Sending GLOBAL CQ's or GROUP messages on APRS

Remember the CQSRVR which can let you send GROUP messages live
to ANY group distributed anywhere in the world. For example.
Field Day. Just send an APRS message to CQSRVR and begin the
message with "CQ FD text..." and it will go to every other
station in the world that also has sent a message to "CQ FD
text..." The CQSRVR will keep you in the group list for 12
hours after your last such message.

Typical uses are CQ FD for Field Day, CQ SCOUTS, CQ SCR for
School Club Roundup, CQ SATERN for the Salvation Army, CQ CQ for
just general purpose CQ's.
See www.aprs.org/cqsrvr.html.

I'll logon to CQ CQ today just to see if anyone tries it. Bob,
