Perhaps a silly question, but if you hook this up to an HT, how does
the HT know when to Tx?

I've used USB devices before to hook up a computer to a radio, but not
sure how the radio is supposed to know when to Tx just by supplying an
audio feed.

Look forward to getting this :)
