Uh, this is scary. What's to prevent someone from reading your RFID tag and cloning your car keys? If not the car, what do they unlock?
Even if they can't get access to much with just the ID, is it really such a good idea to be always broadcasting who and where you are? If you're good for a little science almost-not-so-fiction, read Cory Doctorow's book "Little Brother" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Brother_(Cory_Doctorow_novel) - the book itself is a free download from the link in the article. Not to sound paranoid, but at least I can turn off my ARPS beacon when I want to.
