Trying to figure something out.

I pulled into work today with my d710 programmed to shut off after 30
minutes.  Here we are 6 hours later and I see it's still beaconing.  I have
it programmed to back off transmissions when there  in no GPS (or is it when
velocity is 0??).  I do see that it's reporting a velocity of 2mph.  Maybe I
should have waited just another second before killing the power to the GPS?
