The KPC-9612 supports POCSAG natively, so it would just be a matter of
interfacing them to the APRS-IS network with some smart between-ware
and page away on a national APRS pager frequency. Since IGATE software
already is "user in the area" aware, then something similar could
happen with APRS-PGates ( pager gateways ).
