How about AGW Tracker? 

works under almost all modern flavours of Windoze;
under constant development/improvement by SV2AGW (there's even a PPC 
version);
works with AGWPE so sound cards or TNC;
created outside the USA so supports loads of different map types including 
(but not limited to):
  Google on-line, Yahoo on-line, Virtual Earth, GPX, Garmin ".img", 
ArcView, Geotiff, JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG, WMF
weather station dialog displays
station tool-tips
mobile tracking
Kenwood messaging display

Comes on an unlimited trial license which is upgradable to a real license 
for a few dollars.

Hi,
Ok I am not looking for a fight here , but reality is that we are
going to need a WINDOZE APRS program along the lines of 
UI-View with some improvements sooner than later !!!

Is there any-one out there working on something similar and if so I would 
be
interested in hearing from you off list is fine ..
