Not to throw a wet blanket on this, but.... only the new Kenwood D710 
has this magic TUNE button; possibly a new Kenwood HT not yet out, and 
possibly the new Yaesu if it is released here. So we have ONE radio with 
TUNE.

It is one of the more (the most?) expensive V/UHF mobile radio. Most FM 
users will have something quite a bit more economical. Some % (30%) of 
APRS users have Kenwood, but of those, how many have upgraded the D700 
to a D710??   So promoting a scheme relying on ONE radios's technology, 
you may not have many contacts. At least not for a few years, using this 
method. :-)  

As I said - not saying "don't promote this". Just be realistic in 
setting up people's expectations.
